Function: Application Support Agent (DG AGRI)
Workplace: Brussels

Introduction / Context:
The European Commission has awarded a large framework contract to AI4. AI4 helps the European Commission to achieve its objectives by providing services.
You will be part of the external OPSS team at the Directorate General for Agriculture and Rural Development.

Description of tasks:

• Administrative Support: You will support DG AGRI’s officials in their daily work by helping them extract and treat data from various applications (OFIS, iRASFF, TRACES).
• Data Analysis: You will help recording and analyse cases/notifications related to organic production, you will create reports, do traceability exercises along the supply/food chain;
• Communication: You will inform all relevant stakeholders about your finding and follow-up on the measures taken.
• Documentation: You will have to maintain existing documentation, SOPs and processes

Profile:

• Languages: English (must). Other EU language is a plus;
• Knowledge of EU Institutions;
• Minimum years of work experience: 1 (traineeships counting as experience);
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PPT)
• Academics: Scientific background, European studies or degree in administration.

Location: The team is operating OnSite in DG AGRI offices located in Brussels.

Other requirements:

• EU Citizenship.
• Resident or available to relocate to Belgium.
