We are seeking an IT Hardware Technician to join our team in Strasbourg.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct hardware products research and analysis.
- Manage incident resolution and problem management in the domain of specialization.
- Utilize ticketing systems for tracking and management.
- Apply ITIL foundations and best practices in daily operations (ITIL V4).
- Operate and manage Configuration Management Database (CMDB) tools and processes.
- Utilize documentation tools and systems administration tools as required for daily operations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in hardware product research and analysis, incident resolution, and problem management.
- Familiar with the use of ticketing systems.
- Familiar with ITIL foundations and best practices (ITIL V4).
- Vendor certifications are appreciated (Dell, HP, Apple, ...)
- Accustomed to Configuration Management Database tools and processes.
- Ability to use documentation and systems administration tools as required.
- Service-minded attitude.
- Attention to quality of work.
- Customer-friendly and diplomatic.
- Responsible and accountable.
- Trustworthy.
- Good knowledge (B2) of French and English (spoken and written).
Minimum 4 years of recent professional experience in one or more of the following areas:
- ICT Hardware Incident Management.
- ICT Hardware Product expertise, including Server Hardware.
- Desktop Operating Systems (MS Windows, Linux, Apple) deployment.
- Mobile Devices expertise. (Smartphones, Notebooks, ...).
- Printers diagnostic and troubleshooting.
- Hardware control and troubleshooting - assembly and disassembly.
- Network Management.
- Logistic Operations.
Other Requirements:
- Resident or available to relocate to Strasbourg.
