We are seeking for a Senior Network Engineer to join our team in Brussels. 

Responsibilities

• Conduct architecture and technology studies, considering user needs, standards, scalability, and performance;
• Prepare and execute tests and proof of concepts (PoCs);
• Perform capacity planning and write technical specifications;
• Support evaluation of technical solutions and oversee migrations and deployments;
• Monitor performance and recommend improvements;
• Contribute to database setup, customization, testing, and documentation;
• Provide technical support and user guidance;
• Assess training needs, deliver training sessions, and evaluate results;
• Support additional tasks aligned with team objectives.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of telecom and data center technologies, standards, and best practices;
• Hands-on experience with network automation (e.g. Ansible, Python, CI/CD) and Infrastructure-as-Code;
• Solid networking background (routing, VPNs, SD-WAN, DNS/DHCP, data center and campus networks);
• Experience with cloud and container environments (Azure/AWS, Docker/Kubernetes);
• Good understanding of network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS, web security, load balancing);
• Relevant vendor certifications are a plus.

Miscellaneous

• Experience with automated deployments (e.g. Zero Touch Provisioning, PXE);
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and network management tools;
• Ability to work with modern architectures and hybrid environments;
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills;
• Flexible and able to support evolving technical environments;
• EU citizenship;
• Based in Brussels.
